Amelia Davis has been named President of The VisionWorks Foundation, Inc. and the
MSFriends Initiative.
The VisionWorks Foundation, Inc. is an exciting new patient guided outreach program with
MSFriends being the first 24/7 help hotline for people with MS manned by volunteers who
are also living with MS. 1-866-MSFriends hotline will offer support and referrals.
Amelia has finished her third photographic book about Osteoporosis, Faces of Osteoporosis.

The California Department of Health Services, California Osteoporosis Prevention and Education
program (COPE) is pleased to announce that "Faces of Osteoporosis" received a Silver Award for
Excellence in Public Health Communication at the National Public Health Information Coalition
(NPHIC) annual meeting. "Faces of Osteoporosis" was recognized in the category of out-sourced
print and graphic specialty products.
